This fall, country singer-songwriter Caroline Jones is joining Zac Brown Band as a special guest on the Grammy-winning group’s The Comeback Tour, Billboard can reveal. The tour, which kicks off Aug. 5 in Holmdel, NJ and runs through Oct. 17 in Nashville, covers more than 20 dates and is followed by a headlining four-date run from Caroline Jones in Florida.
“I cannot express into words what a high honor it is for Zac to invite me to play on a stage of such masterful musicians, not to mention soulful people,” Jones said of joining The Comeback Tour. “It is a great validation for me as a singer and musician, having studied and modeled myself after artists like Zac Brown Band who embody musical excellence, personal integrity, and creative longevity. I am eager to contribute whatever gifts I can offer to the music and to the Zamily!”

Jones teased the news on Monday (July 26), posting a photo of herself on socials holding a banjo and wearing camouflage. Calling it her “audition photo” for the group, she asked them to “keep me in mind.” This isn’t Jones’ first rodeo with ZBB. Jones opened for the country-rock band on three prior tours and co-wrote her “All of the Boys” single with Zac Brown. Her current single, the cheeky, prickly “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable),” comes from her upcoming sophomore album due this year.
