Cardi B posted a video on Monday (July 19) in which she performs her “Wild Side” rap dressed in a black leather bikini that shows off her growing baby bump. In the 44-second clip, Cardi starts out in a lime green mesh dress that matches her green and blue mermaid hair and eyeshadow, lip synching the sulty chorus to her collab on Normani‘s new single.
But when Cardi’s verse comes around, she flips the script and switches to a new location, where she squats over a black cube and exposes her whole backside while posing in front of what looks like a painting of a giant heart.
“Look, dímelo, turn me ’round/ Treat me like a watch, bust me down/ On the kitchen floor, right on that towel/ It’s my d–k and I want it now, ow/ Tell me how you want it,” she raps, turning around to reveal her shiny leather bikini and bump. The MC, who lives to interrupt expectations, goes on to finish her NC-17-rated verse while giving fans every angle of her pregnant belly as she raps about sending nudes and sticking toes in your mouth.
“Your turn @normani,” Cardi captioned the clip, along with five pair of wide-eyed emoji. In case you missed it, she also did a close-up a cappella video where she drops the verse in a whispery voice.
Normani responded with a kind-hearted compliment about how en fuego Cardi looks in the clip. “I’m stepping owt tomorrow sis. PURRRRRR how do you look this fye with life inside you. YOU WIN,” she tweeted. Cardi’s new look at the song came after the Aaliyah-sampling single inspired FKA Twigs to show off her pole dancing skills to the sensual slow jam.
On Sunday (July 18), Cardi retweeted a clip of the dance on Twitter, shortly after saying she would have delivered some moves of her own in the choreo-heavy “Wild Side” music video if she wasn’t expecting.”If I wasn’t pregnant I would of done a lit ass pole video to wildside ….but I am so imma just have to do a video rolling on the floor like peppa pig,” the rapper joked in a tweet.
