Cardi B has officially returned. Her eagerly anticipated album, Am I the Drama?, arrived Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, and it reunites many of the hits and star-studded collaborations listeners have been waiting for. Between career-defining singles and new duets, the record stakes a bold claim as one of this week’s most talked-about releases.

It’s been seven years since Cardi’s breakthrough LP, Invasion of Privacy. In the meantime she’s released cultural touchstones like “WAP” and “Up,” and Am I the Drama? collects familiar favorites alongside fresh tracks and high-profile features — from Janet Jackson to Kehlani and Lizzo. Hot off recent singles such as “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz,” Cardi arrives with a celebratory, unapologetic energy; she’s also publicly shared that she is expecting her fourth child and her first with partner Stefon Diggs.

Miley Cyrus expanded her Something Beautiful era with a deluxe edition that includes “Secrets,” a new collaboration featuring Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood. On the track Miley frames the song as an olive branch, asking the other party to “call off all your forces” and offering a “white flag in the war.” She described it on Instagram as a peace offering to someone she had lost touch with but never stopped loving.

Elsewhere this week, Lola Young released the long-awaited album I’m Only F–king Myself, which showcases singles like “One Thing,” “D£aler” and “Spiders.” Raye returns with the exuberant single “Where Is My Husband!” And Nine Inch Nails contribute another cinematic layer to the season with their soundtrack for TRON: Ares.
