Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, and mgk Walk the Vogue Runway at Milan Fashion Week

Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, mgk and other celebrity musicians traded the stage for the runway on Tuesday (Sept. 22) during Fashion Week in Milan.

The Vogue World 2026: Milano showcase took place inside the city’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. According to Vogue, the event aimed to survey and celebrate fashion’s ability to preserve heritage, drive innovation and shape the future. The clothing and performances were divided into five acts called “The Artisanal Revolution,” “The Industrial Revolution,” “Made in Italy,” “The Age of Intelligence” and “The Imagination Revolution,” taking audience members through different historical periods.

During the third act, Cardi wore a brightly colored dress printed with various Vogue magazine covers. Lopez followed immediately, twirling in a sparkly black gown and opera gloves alongside tennis player Lorenzo Musetti. Mgk appeared later in the fourth act, walking through the nearly 150-year-old shopping plaza in an orange jumpsuit and waving at one of the Vogue cameras live streaming the full show.

Alicia Keys also participated in the fifth act, wearing a hand-painted Francesco Risso dress and leading an ethereal performance of Donna Summer’s disco track “I Feel Love,” which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977. J Balvin modeled an ornate Dolce & Gabbana suit, and Kpop Demon Hunters star Ejae wore a Roberto Capucci number.

The 2026 exhibition marks the fifth Vogue World. The series began in 2022 with an inaugural show in New York, followed by events in London, Paris and Hollywood. Ticket proceeds benefit local cultural and performing arts organizations in the host cities.

Musicians such as Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Bad Bunny, Katy Perry, Ciara and Maluma have walked the Vogue World runway in previous years.
