Capcom Edits Scenes in Resident Evil Requiem, Announces Pre-Order Opening Date

Fans will be able to pre-order a copy of the game in advance.

The team behind Resident Evil Requiem has released several promotional clips that sharp-eyed players noticed contained mistakes. It was recently announced those issues have been corrected.

Capcom has now spoken to the community and confirmed when pre-orders will open: they’re set to begin on October 29.

At the same time, Capcom plans to release a special video celebrating the Resident Evil series, but has clarified it will not include any Requiem gameplay footage.

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026.
