Capcom Data Debunks Popular Myth About Young Gamers
Capcom shared interesting statistics regarding the age of its new games’ audiences during a question-and-answer session.
According to Capcom’s data, roughly half of the players for Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem are between 20 and 29 years old. This data sparked active discussion among players and showed that the Japanese company is successfully attracting a younger demographic and effectively refreshing the fan base for its franchises.

This age group is especially important for publishers because individuals aged 20 to 29 already have their own income while still retaining plenty of free time for video games.
The result for Resident Evil Requiem is particularly notable. The Resident Evil series has already turned 30 years old, meaning that people younger than the franchise itself are actively playing the new installment.
Such statistics serve as further proof that even younger gamers still willingly choose single-player narrative games rather than focusing solely on multiplayer projects.
