Cannibal Corpse Guitarist Arrested for Burglary, Assault During House Fire

Pat O’Brien, guitarist within the dying steel band Cannibal Corpse, was arrested final night time (December 10) after allegedly breaking right into a neighbor’s residence in Tampa, Florida after which allegedly charging at a sheriff’s deputy with a knife, all whereas his home was on fireplace, The Blast and local ABC Action News affiliate WFTS report.

According to WFTS, a hearth began at O’Brien’s residence across the time of the alleged break-in. Ammunition and “military-style flamethrowers” reportedly exploded inside the house through the fireplace. O’Brien reportedly ran away from his residence after firefighters arrived.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, after being informed to depart the neighbor’s residence, O’Brien “pushed one of the residents to the ground against her will and fled into the backyard.” After a sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene, O’Brien allegedly “ran towards the deputy with a knife in his right hand.” The deputy used a Taser on O’Brien, who was booked on fees of Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer With a Deadly Weapon and Burglary Occupied Dwelling with Assault or Battery, based on the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
