Regardless of which fan base emerges triumphant in the 2025 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off, a new benchmark will be set. Should SB19’s devoted A’TIN clinch victory, they will amass their third title—matching T-ara’s Queens for the most wins since the competition began in 2014. (The contest was suspended in 2019 and 2021.)
If Sabrina Carpenter’s Carpenters, Selena Gomez’s Selenators or Miley Cyrus’s Smilers prevail, it will mark the first time an American artist’s—or any non-Southeast Asian artist’s—fan army has claimed the crown. It would also represent the inaugural triumph by supporters of a solo performer, as all prior champions have rallied behind groups.
Each finalist boasts impressive chart credentials. SB19’s single “Dam” soared to No. 4 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 in March. Meanwhile, Carpenter, Gomez and Cyrus have each celebrated No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 over the span of their careers.
The tournament launched with 64 fan armies on July 14 and has been whittled down to four as of 12 p.m. ET on August 11. Semifinal voting remains open through 12 p.m. ET on August 15, after which only two armies will advance to the final showdown.
