During her Yours, C Tour stops in Melbourne and Sydney on August 27 and 30, 2025, Camila Cabello delivered an unexpected piano-led rendition of “Torn,” the 1998 chart-topper that introduced Natalie Imbruglia to U.S. audiences.
Seated at the piano for both shows—just weeks before her forthcoming September 14 date in São Paulo, Brazil—the “C,XOXO” singer infused Imbruglia’s classic with fresh vulnerability, echoing the emotional depth of the original from Left of the Middle (1997).
On Saturday, Cabello shared a clip of her performance via X, writing, “When in Australia… you have to sing ‘Torn.’ I love you, Natalie Imbruglia & I love you, Australia.”
Chart Legacy of “Torn”
- Topped Billboard’s Radio Songs, Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay charts in 1998
- Peaked at No. 42 on the Hot 100
- Earned Imbruglia a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (won by Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”)
- Originally recorded by Ednaswap in 1995
Natalie Imbruglia has released six studio albums to date, most recently 2021’s Firebird, and appeared as “Bluebell” on The Masked Singer in 2024.
