Speculation has intensified online regarding the potential casting of actor Callum Turner as the iconic James Bond.
According to tabloid reports, Turner has allegedly informed close associates that he has secured the role of the next 007. Adding to the buzz, there is talk that his partner, global pop sensation Dua Lipa, could be tapped to record the film’s signature theme song.
“It is far too early to discuss this. I appreciate the question, but I have no comment to offer,” Turner stated during a press conference at the Berlinale film festival.
The upcoming 26th installment of the long-running franchise is set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve. Turner’s name joins a high-profile shortlist of rumored contenders that has previously included Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi, and Harris Dickinson.
Turner is currently attending Berlinale 2026 to promote his latest project, *Rosebush Pruning*, helmed by director Karim Aïnouz (noted for *Invisible Life*).
The film follows a wealthy American family living in a grand Spanish villa. The household’s stability is shaken when the eldest brother, Jack, announces that his girlfriend will be moving in. Meanwhile, his younger brother, Ed, begins investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding their mother’s death. The filmmakers have described the project as a sharp satire aimed at the absurdities of patriarchal tradition.
The production features a star-studded ensemble, including Elle Fanning, Jamie Bell, Riley Keough, and Pamela Anderson. The film is currently vying for honors in the Berlinale’s main competition.
