Among the most anticipated films of this summer, there is undoubtedly Buzz Lightyear, which Pixar studios has been secretly preparing for several years. Not only because we will discover another facet of this hero from the Toy Story franchise, but also because the character’s approach is quite different, far from the toy side stuck in a child’s room. Mixing science fiction, action and adventure, the film Buzz Lightyear tells how the legendary Space Ranger was stranded with his crew on a hostile planet located 4.2 million light years from Earth. Obviously, on the way back, he will meet a certain Zurg and his army of ruthless robots.
To make this adventure as memorable as possible, Disney called on a large cast for the French version. We have just learned that it is François Civil who will lend his voice to Buzz Lightyear, that it is Lyna Khoudri, who will play her teammate Izzy Hawthorne, while Michaël Gregorio will be in charge of giving life to Sox, the robot of Buzz company. Tomer Sisley, who we saw alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Don’t Look Up, will be the voice of Mo Morrison, and finally, Chantal Ladesou will take care of bringing Darby Steel to life. But that’s not all, we also know that Donald Reignoux will also be in the cast since he plays Officer Diaz. There is also Maïk Darah (elderly Alisha Hawthorne), Virginie Emane (young Alisha Hawthorne), Frantz Confiac (Commander Burnside), Jean Barney (Zurg), Pauline Moulène (IVAN), Volodia Serre (Eric/Deric), Lionel Lingelser ( Featheringhamstan) and Juliette Davis (Young Izzy).
You know everything and the release of the film is set for June 22 at the cinema.
