Bunnie Xo Slams ‘Shallow’ Fans Who Call Jelly Roll ‘Hot’ Only Because He Lost Weight

Bunnie Xo is addressing an uptick of remarks about her husband Jelly Roll’s recent weight loss — and she’s not holding back.

In a TikTok clip, the podcaster impersonated a common comment she’s seen in her replies — “Girl, your man is so hot now that he lost all that weight” — then dismissed that line of thinking as superficial. “Is he? He’s always had the same face,” Bunnie says in the video. “He’s always had the same heart, he’s always had the same soul.”

She went on to urge people to shift their focus away from appearances. “A kinder, more accurate thing to say would be that he looks healthier since losing weight,” she said. “We need to stop living in a Shallow Hal world — judging someone by their size could make you miss the love of your life.”

The reminder arrives as Jelly Roll continues to chart a major health transformation. The country singer has been open about his journey and in April revealed he had lost more than 200 pounds.

Earlier this month, he also showed off a refreshed wardrobe during a trip to Rome, joking on Instagram that he can now fit into Louis Vuitton and asking fans to “Pray for my bank account.”

Bunnie and Jelly have been partners for years: the couple married in 2016 and recently marked their ninth anniversary. “Life is ours, we live it our way, 9 years of us,” Bunnie wrote on Instagram, while Jelly added on his Story, “I love more and more every single day.”
