BTS appeared at the Grammys Sunday night (April 3), performing “Butter.” The boy band made their entrance by hiding amongst audience members while donning sunglasses, with one pretending to take a card from behind Olivia Rodrigo’s ear and another descending from the ceiling. BTS then launched into a choreographed dance as they sang “Butter,” at one point pretending to sneak their way past laser beams in keeping with the spy theme. Watch it below.
BTS were nominated for one Grammy this year, with “Butter” up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” with SZA and Justin Bieber’s Benny Blanco collaboration “Lonely” were nominated, as was Coldplay’s “Higher Power.” Tony Bennett’s and Lady Gaga’s take on the standard “I Get a Kick Out of You” was also among the nominees. After releasing “Butter” and bringing it to the Billboard Music Awards and Colbert last spring, BTS shared a remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion in August.
