Bright Eyes have shared their cover of Elliott Smith’s “St. Ides Heaven,” from the late singer-songwriter’s 1995 self-titled LP. The cover features vocals from Conor Oberst’s Better Oblivion Community Center bandmate Phoebe Bridgers. Listen below.

The new “St. Ides Heaven” cover will appear on Bright Eyes’ forthcoming Letting Off the Happiness: A Companion EP—out May 27 via Dead Oceans. The band’s last studio LP was 2020’s Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was.
