«Breaking Bad» Named the Best TV Series of the 21st Century

The New York Times has unveiled its comprehensive ranking of the “100 Best TV Shows of the 21st Century,” with the gritty crime thriller Breaking Bad claiming the top spot.

The selection process involved over 500 industry professionals, including actors, showrunners, and critics. Eligibility was restricted to series that premiered on or after January 1, 2000, which notably excluded HBO’s iconic The Sopranos, as it debuted in 1999.
