Borderlands 4 developers optimized the PC version and buffed Vex and Vault Hunters
Developers continue to refine the game’s technical foundation and more.
The team behind Borderlands 4 rolled out a new patch in early October. It updated the weekly boss and the Wildcard activity, along with several other adjustments.
An automatic cleanup of legacy Borderlands 4 shaders is now performed during version updates to help prevent performance degradation on some PCs.
Balance adjustments were also made to the Vault Seekers: Harlow saw minimal changes, while Rafa, Vex, and Amon received numerous ability enhancements.
For example, Vex’s active skills received damage increases—Phase Explosion was boosted by 16.6% and Eldritch Blast by 9.5%—and several passive abilities were strengthened.
