Bonuses Are No Longer for Everyone: What Patch 1.02 Changed in Silent Hill f

Konami has released patch 1.02 for Silent Hill f, addressing an issue that allowed players to access content reserved for specific editions without purchasing them.

Previously, owners of the Standard Edition could access Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses. The update now restricts those items so they remain available only to players who legitimately purchased the corresponding edition.

After the patch, bonus outfits, omamori charms, and item bundles will no longer appear for users who do not own the required edition. If a save file previously used edition-exclusive items, loading that save will convert them back to the standard versions. Items already acquired from the Bonus Item Pack will remain in the player’s inventory.

Players attempting to use content they aren’t entitled to will now see the message: “Could not find [bonus name]. Please try reloading it.”

Silent Hill f launched on September 25, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The title quickly became the series’ fastest seller, moving over one million copies on its first day.
