Blogger Accuses Rockstar Support of Selling GTA 5 Players’ Data to Hackers

Enhanced Grand Theft Auto V accounts are highly sought after.

A YouTuber recently published an investigation into alleged corruption surrounding Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V.

The accusations aren’t directed at the developers themselves but at an outsourced support team, which is suspected of participating in covert schemes.

The online investigator suggests that hackers bribed support staff, enabling them to access administrator tools and obtain GTA V accounts that were later sold on the black market.

Reports claim that access to these tools was offered for as much as $50,000, while a gang tag was supposedly sold for between $150 and $300.
