Blizzard Prepares Major Changes for Diablo 4 — Announces Updates to Crafting, Combat and More

New content will be revealed earlier than usual.

A minor 2.4.1 patch for Diablo 4 was released recently. This is just the beginning — the developers have far-reaching plans.

A member of the Diablo 4 team, PezRadar, has begun teasing significant changes:

“Over the coming weeks we’ll start outlining the adjustments that will soon arrive on the PTR. We’re kicking off a bit earlier than normal because there’s a lot to cover — from tweaks to Mastery/Tempering to updates to the combat system and reputation mechanics, and much more!

As we’ve mentioned before, this PTR will be especially important. We want players to review every change and share feedback before the next season begins.”
