BLACKPINK fans are just 10 short days away from the release of Lisa’s solo debut, Lalisa. To continue building anticipation, Lisa shared a second teaser trailer to her personal Instagram account on Tuesday (Aug. 31).
The new visual features Lisa standing out among gritty surroundings, which consists of a smoke-laden sky and city buildings twinkling in the background. The “Kill This Love” singer stuns in reflective pants, a sleeveless band T-shirt, and hair that hangs like curtains down to her waist. The audio gives the trailer an eerie, industrial feel as if warning viewers to expect the unexpected, before ominously closing out with the single album’s release date and title.
Lisa’s group members — Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie — also showed their support of her upcoming single album release and posted the trailer to their respective Instagram Stories. BLACKPINK’s label, YG Entertainment, also shared the teaser to its socials, as well as BLACKPINK’s respective social media pages.
Two days prior to the new teaser release, Lisa shared a new poster of her promoting Lalisa on her social media, which showed her confidently gazing at the camera and holding up hands decked out in bejeweled nails.
After Lalisa drops, Lisa will be the third member of BLACKPINK to have released a solo project. Jennie was the first, dropping her single “Solo” in 2018. Rosé followed in March 2021, releasing her project -R-, which featured “On the Ground” and “Gone.” Jisoo will be the final member of the quartet to release solo material.
