The members of BLACKPINK reflect on their lives on the stage in the official trailer of their upcoming movie, which was released on Wednesday (July 14).
Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are celebrating five years of being together on Aug. 8 and teased that they plan on commemorating the occasion with a special ‘4+1’ project. The “5th Anniversary [4+1] The Movie Main Trailer” showcases the foursome looking up at videos from day one, before the trailer launches into archival footage of the girls’ rehearsals and performances from their 2021 livestream concert The Show and 2018 In Your Area World Tour illuminated by their signature pink lights.
“I really did try to put my heart and soul into it,” Rosé tells the camera before Lisa tearfully thanks the Blinks — the “+1” mentioned in the project — for their constant support. “Honestly, thank you for always supporting me,” she says at the end of the trailer.
According to the video description on YouTube, Blackpink The Movie will feature a brand new concert and behind-the-scenes footage. BLACKPINK’s website describes the never-before-seen concert as a “set that fits the individuality of each member” over the course of 10-plus hit songs.
Blackpink The Movie will premiere in theaters globally on Aug. 4 and 8, and will be available to watch on ScreenX, 4DX and 4DX Screens. Tickets are available at blackpinkthemovie.com.
