Billie Eilish’s music and lullabies share a natural kinship. Billboard is pleased to reveal that Rockabye Baby will release a new cover album—gentle, instrumental arrangements of the pop star’s hits designed to soothe little ones to sleep.
Lullaby Renditions of Billie Eilish arrives August 15 and features thirteen serene interpretations of the nine-time Grammy winner’s most beloved songs from her three studio albums, plus select bonus tracks. Highlights include “Bad Guy” (from When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), the title track of Happier Than Ever, “Lunch” (Hit Me Hard and Soft), the Oscar-winning “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie and the breakout hit “Ocean Eyes,” the viral SoundCloud single that launched her career.
Rockabye Baby also shared a charming animated clip for its “Bad Guy” rendition, showcasing xylophones, glockenspiels and other delicate instruments. In a playful nod to Eilish’s original video, their teddy bear mascot—donned in a yellow hoodie and snorkeling mask—bursts through a matching yellow wall on a tricycle caravan, later racing around in a toy sports car bearing the license plate “DUH.”
This isn’t the first time Rockabye Baby has transformed chart-toppers into lullabies. The label’s previous projects include hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan (peaking at No. 79 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales in October 2020), pop icons Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, K-pop sensation BTS, Latin superstar Bad Bunny and many others.
