Billie Eilish Is Dreaming About Her Sold-Out Tour

Billie Eilish is back and she’s on red-hot form. But there’s something missing from the mix…concerts.

That should change in February — fingers crossed — when the alternative pop star embarks on full-scale arena tour in support of her new album Happier Than Ever. Warm up dates will kick off Sept. 18 with an appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

If her fans are excited, they’ve got nothing on Billie.

“I’ve had like six dreams this week about shows. Dead serious,” she told Jimmy Fallon during an interview Monday (Aug. 9) on NBC’s The Tonight Show. “It’s been so long. I can’t wait.”

The seven-time Grammy Award winner also shared a glimpse at her upcoming Disney+ concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, with a cut of her performance of its title track.

A Love Letter is due out next month, but it’s not yet in the can. “They’re still working on it,” she explained. “The animation is so complicated.”

Happier Than Ever is currently No. 1 on the albums charts around the globe, including the U.K., Australia and the U.S., where it’s her second leader on the Billboard 200, after When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Osbourne, the companion flick Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter features intimate performances of every song from the album, captured on stage at the Hollywood Bowl, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and a full band. It’s scheduled for release on Sept. 3.
