Billie Eilish joined forces with her brother Finneas for a breathtaking live performance of her recent song “Your Power.”
On Sunday (July 18), the 19-year-old superstar singer shared the official live performance video of the powerful folk-tinged single, which appears on her upcoming sophomore album, Happier Than Ever.
In the minimalist clip, directed by Kyle Goldberg, Eilish and Finneas sit alongside each other in a narrow space lined by light brown curtains and a retro style chandelier hanging above. Finneas, who co-wrote the song with his sister, provides the smooth acoustic guitar and soft backing vocals, while Eilish gets lost in her lyrics about the abuse of power.
In late April, Eilish released the official music video for “Your Power.” In the self-directed visual, the singer appears by herself in California’s Simi Valley, where she condemns someone who has abused their power and hasn’t realized the repercussions of their actions.
“This is one of my favorite songs i’ve ever written. i feel very vulnerable putting this one out because i hold it so close to my heart,” she wrote on Instagram. “this is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. i hope this can inspire change. try not to abuse your power.”
“Your Power” appears on Eilish’s forthcoming album, Happier Than Ever, which is scheduled for release on July 30 through Darkroom and Interscope Records.
