Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s ‘Crazy in Love’ Enters YouTube’s Billion Views Club

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have officially entered YouTube’s Billion Views Club with “Crazy in Love.”

More than two decades after the collaboration introduced Beyoncé as a solo superstar, its official music video has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. It is her third music video to reach this milestone, following “Halo” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”

Released in 2003 as the lead single from Beyoncé’s solo debut album, Dangerously in Love, the track established her outside of Destiny’s Child. The Jake Nava-directed video features choreography and an appearance by Jay-Z for his verse. The visual won best choreography at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

The song was also dominant on the Billboard charts, becoming Beyoncé’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist and spending eight consecutive weeks at the top.

The track received an eight-times-platinum certification from the RIAA in December 2024, representing 8 million certified units in the U.S.

“Crazy in Love” won two Grammys for best rap/sung collaboration and best R&B song, and received a nomination for record of the year.
