Beast of Reincarnation marks the newest action RPG venture from Pokémon developer Game Freak. Much like several historical launches within the Pokémon franchise, this latest title has experienced a rocky debut, leaving players frustrated by persistent technical hurdles. Fortunately, Game Freak has moved swiftly to address these grievances, committing to a rollout of frequent patches aimed at resolving the game’s underlying issues.

In an official statement published on X, the studio expressed gratitude to the community for diving into Beast of Reincarnation. “We take your feedback to heart and are currently planning a series of continuous updates,” the developers shared. The upcoming patch, scheduled to arrive within the week, introduces camera adjustments, narrative pacing refinements—which will see further tuning in subsequent updates—general bug fixes, a switch to Performance mode as the default preset, and an overall increase in font size.

As both players and critics have heavily emphasized, the game’s default typography is remarkably diminutive. For anyone lounging on a couch at a standard viewing distance from their television, deciphering the on-screen text requires an exhausting amount of squinting.

Currently, Beast of Reincarnation holds a “Mixed” rating across roughly 1,700 user reviews on Steam. “All in all, it feels like a budget-bin alternative to Stellar Blade sold at a AAA price tag,” one reviewer remarked. Having spent upwards of a dozen hours exploring its world firsthand, it is hard to argue with that assessment.
