Sonic Boom‘>Beach House have shared the music video for his or her 7 tune “Drunk In LA.” The trippy clip was directed by Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom. “We were out having dinner and [Sonic Boom] mentioned an idea for a video where the viewer is always looking up from the ground,” Beach House stated in a press release. “When he sent it to us, we complimented and commented on the trippy, dreamlike nature of the video and he wrote that it was essentially just a day in his life.” Watch the music video under.
Along with the “Drunk In LA” video, Sonic Boom has remixed 7’s “Black Car.” The band stated of the remix, “It feels like a different song, focused largely on voice and arpeggio. It feels like a poem this way, and the minimal treatment highlights the lonesome quality of the song.” Listen under.
