As much to say to you that this eventuality seems rather surprising, not to say improbable. Indeed, on the financial level, what interest Electronic Arts and DICE would have to offer Battlefield only on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5, if not to cut itself off from a huge installed base of consoles? And then, right now, it’s not like bending down to find an Xbox Series X or a PS5; it’s hard to find one. Afterwards, when we see the trauma caused by Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One, we could understand the reluctance, especially since the Swedish studio would have really put the package from a technical point of view.
In short, it will probably be necessary to wait until the next EA PLAY to find out what is going on. Obviously, PC owners can sleep soundly.
In other news, I still have yet to hear anything concrete that #BATTLEFIELD will come to past gen consoles. Theory – It indicates to me that it probably won’t and the biggest reason #BATTLEFIELD will come to the Xbox Game Pass on day 1 is to boost up player numbers.
