Baldur’s Gate 3 developers look after PS5 fans and address Steam Deck issues
The performance of Larian’s game is steadily improving.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 team has rolled out another patch — version 1.800.503. Larian Studios responded to complaints from PlayStation owners and prepared a targeted fix, but because of technical considerations the patch will be deployed across all platforms:
“We are releasing a fix aimed at resolving freezes on PS5 that occur when accessing party management!
Since this fix includes controller input adjustments, it must be deployed on all platforms, starting with PC and PS5, and it should go live for Xbox and macOS next week.”
The Baldur’s Gate 3 developers clarified that this should not affect crossplay, and they also addressed fans using Valve’s handheld device:
“Steam Deck players: if you’re experiencing issues with the performance overlay — Valve has released a beta update intended to fix it.”
