Bad Bunny Performs ‘Te Deseo Lo Mejor’ at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards

High off his big night at the Billboard Music Awards, where he won top Latin artist, Bad Bunny took the stage to perform his alt-rock anthem “Te Deseo Lo Mejor.”

Dressed in angelic white, Bunny donned a fur coat adorned with a matching fur white lobster and a metallic eyewear piece for an ultimate avant-garde look. As he performed the heartbreak track, he made his way up a ramp where he ended his performance radiating light.

“Te Deseo Lo Mejor” is off his 2020 album El Último Tour Del Mundo, which made history as the first all-Spanish-language album to hit No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

El Conejo Malo was one of the big winners at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, taking home three of five awards in the Latin categories on Sunday night (May 23) including top Latin artist, top Latin album (YHLQMDLG) and top Latin song for “Dákiti” with Jhay Cortez.

“Thanks a lot, first of all, to my fans all over the world,” he said in Spanish during his speech. “Without you, no award would exist. Thank you, Billboard. I share this [award] with all of my colleagues nominated who are doing big things for the genre.”

Bunny’s BBMAs showstopping performance follows his Grammy showcase where he performed “Dákiti” with Jhay Cortez and won his first-ever American Grammy thanks to his album YHLQMDLG, which won best Latin pop or urban album.

Hosted by Nick Jonas, the show included performances by BTS, DJ Khaled featuring H.E.R. and Migos, Doja Cat, Karol G, Alicia Keys and P!nk, received the ICON Award, among many others.

The Billboard Music Awards are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC. MRC and Penske Media are co-parent companies of Billboard.
