Following the release of “Yonaguni,” which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs chart (dated June 19), Bad Bunny has unleashed a new surprise single titled “De Museo,” a melancholic trap song that finds the Puerto Rican superstar reflecting on time, loyalty and staying humble.
“Yeah, time goes by, goes by and doesn’t stop/ I’m getting old and yesterday I was a baby, hey/ The problems ‘come and go, hey/ With my God I am always thankful for everything I’ve accomplished and lived/ For all the times I’ve cried and laughed,” Bunny sings.
In true Bunny fashion, “De Museo” — penned by the chart-topping artist himself — was released with no prior promotion during the early hours of July 6 following Fourth of July weekend via Rimas. The song has already racked up over 2 million views on YouTube.
Most recently, Bunny broke records with “Yonaguni,” which marked his eighth leader and record-breaking 40th top 10 on Hot Latin Songs, breaking out of a tie with Enrique Iglesias and Luis Miguel, each with 39 top 10s. Bunny was also featured on Nio Garcia’s “AM” remix alongside J Balvin, which dropped June 24.
