On Thursday, May 14, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas officially unveiled a new wax figure honoring the legendary producer, Avicii.

The display captures the artist in his signature element: stationed behind the DJ booth, sporting a casual flannel shirt and a backward baseball cap. With his right hand raised and a warm, characteristic smile, the figure serves as an authentic homage to his stage presence.

While a similar Avicii wax figure was introduced at the Madame Tussauds New York location back in 2019, this new Las Vegas iteration features a distinct wardrobe, trading the original black-and-white flannel for a vibrant blue, red, and black pattern. Representatives for the museum have not yet confirmed if this is an entirely new commission or a relocated piece.

The timing of the reveal coincides with the highly anticipated EDC Las Vegas festival. The event is set to bring over 200,000 dance music enthusiasts to the city, creating an ideal moment for fans to connect with the memory of the superstar as the Strip comes alive with celebration.

“Avicii truly embodies everything that the Las Vegas nightlife scene is known for,” said Gabriel Hewitt, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. “His new figure is a perfect addition to our collection, and we are eager for guests to experience it.”

The museum added that the tribute provides a unique space for fans to revisit Avicii’s iconic performances and reflect on his lasting musical legacy. The original project was born from a meaningful collaboration between Madame Tussauds and the late artist’s family. This past April 20 marked eight years since the world lost the visionary producer.
