Richmond’s Avail have announced a 30th anniversary reissue of Satiate, their debut album. The band is self-releasing the record on vinyl and pre-orders are currently ongoing. In addition to the vinyl release, Satiate is now available on streaming services for the first time ever. Hear it below.

Satiate is the missing link in many peoples Avail record collections,” said singer Tim Barry in a statement. “Although an artifact that displays the band just beginning to find our own way, certain songs show a clear path to where we were heading. This repress is for the collectors, the folks who stuck by us from the start, and for new folks wanting to listen to some old music.”

Next year, Avail will hit the road for three shows alongside Hot Water Music. They’re scheduled to perform in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida in late February. See the full list of tour dates below.

Although Avail have never officially disbanded or gone on hiatus, they stopped touring in 2007 until unexpectedly announcing a live show in 2019. Their last record, Front Porch Stories, came out in 2002.
