Atmospheric Stroll Through Japan in Ghost of Yotei — PlayStation Shares New Trailer

Ghost of Yotei — the latest title from Sucker Punch Productions — returns players to Japan with a gripping tale of vengeance and redemption, while immersing them in the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. The game is already available, yet PlayStation continues to promote it.

With PS5 owners already able to experience Atsu’s story, the studio chose to present Ghost of Yotei from a fresh angle. A new trailer has appeared online that doesn’t dwell on plot or gameplay; instead it highlights that the game, much like the studio’s 2020 release, includes visual filters that affect more than just the image.

For this edition the developers went further: they paid tribute to renowned filmmakers and invited one to contribute a personal creative touch. Shinichirō Watanabe supervised the creation of relaxing lo‑fi tracks arranged in a preset sequence, adding a unique atmosphere to the experience.
