Assetto Corsa Rally Receives Major Update with Multiplayer and New Tracks
The early access version of Assetto Corsa Rally moved to update 0.5. This release adds a 16-player multiplayer mode, two rally stages, and revised handling systems.
Supernova Games, 505 Games, and KUNOS Simulazioni collaborated on these changes for the game.
The two new stages take place in Greece. Drivers face fast gravel tracks filled with rocks and ruts. Success requires balancing aggressive drifts with precise steering control.
The new Single Stage Multiplayer mode supports public and private lobbies for up to 16 people. Hosts can adjust weather, car restrictions, and other race settings. Players can also join official servers that host rotating events.
The update refines the driving experience. Developers overhauled tire behavior, suspension travel, and grip levels on different surfaces. These changes also update the force feedback delivered to steering wheels and rebalance vehicle performance against road surfaces.
