Asake to Headline Red Bull Symphonic at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre — November 8, 2025
Afrobeats star Asake will perform with conductor Glenn Alexander II and a full symphonic orchestra for a one-night event.

Afrobeats sensation Asake will bring his music to a new sonic landscape this autumn as the headliner of Red Bull Symphonic in New York. The artist will perform with conductor Glenn Alexander II and a full symphonic orchestra for a single, special evening on November 8, 2025, at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre.
Red Bull Symphonic pairs contemporary artists with classical music leaders and a full orchestra to reinvent the performers’ most beloved songs. For this event, Asake’s repertoire will be reimagined through orchestral arrangements that meld elements of fújì, Afrobeats and amapiano with symphonic textures.
“I’m grateful to take part in Red Bull Symphonic and to hear my music transformed in this way,” Asake said in a statement. “Classical music shaped my early appreciation for sound, and fusing it with fújì, Afrobeats and amapiano alongside a full orchestra is truly unique. I can’t wait for fans to experience these songs from a fresh perspective.”

This will be the first installment of Red Bull Symphonic in New York and the third U.S. presentation overall — following Rick Ross’s Atlanta production in 2022 and Metro Boomin’s Los Angeles concert in 2023.
Glenn Alexander II will conduct the performance, with Anthony Parnther returning to the program as arranger and orchestral consultant (Parnther previously served in that capacity for the 2023 Los Angeles show). Alexander II is currently the music director and conductor for the national tour of Les Misérables and has led ensembles such as the Atlanta Symphony and the NYU Symphony, with appearances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center among his career highlights.
“Being part of a project that bridges genres and communities is a tremendous honor,” Alexander II said. “Working with Asake to blend orchestral color with contemporary rhythms is an opportunity to create something culturally resonant and deeply connective.”
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Red Bull’s official events page on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. ET. For official ticketing information and event details, visit Red Bull’s site.
