Aretha Franklin Documentary Shelved for 46 Years Is Getting Released

A classic Aretha Franklin documentary is lastly getting launched after 46 years, Variety reports. Amazing Grace captures Franklin’s 1972 performances on the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles. It was set to be a companion piece to Franklin’s gospel album of the same name, however the movie went unreleased as a consequence of technical points. It debuts on the documentary movie pageant DOC NYC on November 12. Find tickets for the movie’s debut here, and watch the trailer under.
