Apple has finalized its deal to acquire the music identification app Shazam, The Verge studies. According to Recode, the deal values Shazam at roughly $400 million. In a press release, Apple acknowledged its intentions to make Shazam ad-free “soon.” In addition, in accordance with The Verge, Apple will proceed to service an Android model of Shazam.
