Development is led by Netmarble, a studio renowned for its large-scale anime RPGs. Their titles typically pair eye-catching visuals with wide, immersive worlds. New gameplay segments were revealed during State of Play 2025.
The release is set for January 28, 2026. The team appears to have chosen a relatively uncluttered launch window—avoiding clashes with heavy hitters like Nioh or Resident Evil—though it will still face competition from Code Vein 2.
The game has been confirmed for PlayStation 5 and PC. Based on the available materials, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is poised to be one of the standout JRPGs of early 2026.
