Annihilated delayed to Q4 2026 for final tuning

Independent developer Death Kumiai and publisher Flashlight Games moved the release window for Annihilated to Q4 2026. The game was previously planned for July 22, 2026.

The team says development is in its final stage, but the extra time will be used for final adjustments, battle balance and a smoother overall feel. The game has already passed Steam review, yet the developers decided not to launch before the final tuning pass is complete.

An updated demo is planned during the remaining development period. The studio also intends to collect player feedback before release.

Annihilated is described as a dark and cute roguelite deckbuilder RPG with narrative-driven dungeon crawling and four character routes. Players build a party in a broken world where the visual style mixes horror imagery with bright character art.

The new Q4 2026 window covers October through December.
