Anime-style GTA Meets Spider-Man — Watching New Ananta Gameplay Videos

Ananta is back in the spotlight. A few days ago the developers surprised players with an extended trailer, and now they’ve released raw gameplay footage.

The title is poised to square off against NTE soon, and perhaps even compete with GTA 6 in the long run — its tone unmistakably echoes Rockstar’s aesthetic. However, a major distinction is the game’s playful presentation and anime-inspired visuals.

The fresh demo runs for over ten minutes and showcases not only skirmishes with ordinary enemies but also spectacular car chases and shootouts. The game offers open exploration of a sprawling metropolis, with characters able to glide through the air between skyscrapers almost like Spider-Man.

Ananta does not yet have a release date. Still, it’s easy to imagine the publisher aiming to launch it ahead of GTA 6. NTE, which follows a similar concept, is also gearing up to enter the market. So the Chinese free-to-play segment could soon turn into a fiercely contested field, with several titles battling for the same players’ attention.
