“Anime GTA” Neverness to Everness to Add RPG Mode with Fantasy World and New Loot

The NTE developers announced the 1.2 update, featuring the 999 Nights mode. This update brings a fantasy world, new enemies, a loot system, and two high-rank characters. The release is set for July 8, 2026.

Often called anime-style GTA, NTE introduces the 999 Nights mode in this update. This role-playing session moves players from the metropolis of Heterau to fantasy locations inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and classic Japanese RPGs.

999 Nights adds more than just costumes. The mode introduces new enemies along with systems for loot and equipment. Players will find gear across five categories as they progress through the game.

The update brings two high-rank characters named Shinku and Iroi. Fishing enthusiasts can display their catches in their apartments, and a new motorcycle will appear in the game.

The 1.2 update arrives on July 8, 2026.
