Academy Award nominees Ana de Armas and Kate Hudson have been tapped to headline the upcoming erotic thriller “Palm Grove,” according to a report by Deadline.
The project will be helmed by Hungarian director Kornél Mundruczó, known for his work on “Pieces of a Woman” and “The Crowded Room.” Set against the vibrant backdrop of Miami, the narrative follows a protagonist who becomes entangled in a dangerous game after uncovering her husband’s secret double life.
The screenplay was penned by James Morosini, who previously wrote and directed “I Love My Dad.” While “Palm Grove” has yet to secure a distributor, both stars remain busy; de Armas is currently filming the Apple spy series “Covert,” while Hudson recently appeared in the romantic drama “Maybe I Do” and the Netflix comedy series “M.O.D.”
