Alpha Nomos is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
RibCage Games has announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Alpha Nomos. The rhythm-action roguelite will first launch on PC later in 2026, with the console editions to follow.
Every attack, dodge and ability is tied to the beat. Accurate timing increases damage as Cello fights corrupted puppets across advancing arenas and builds upgrades between runs.
A new trailer introduces the Xyloblades, two xylophone swords that play a note with each hit. The weapons use live studio recordings, as do the other instruments in the game.
Audio effects such as Reverb, Flanger and Delay change both combat behavior and the soundtrack. A timing offset lets players adjust the rhythm window.
A free playable demo is available on Steam. The game is set across ruined cities and a corrupted circus in a visual style the studio calls puppetcore.
