All Good Things land at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their breakthrough single “For the Glory,” featuring Johnny 3 Tears and Charlie Scene, as the song leaps 4-1 on the list dated Aug. 14.
The Los Angeles band becomes the first act to score a No. 1 with a first entry on the chart since Mammoth WVH, whose “Distance” led in February.
All Good Things also mark the fourth act at No. 1 for the first time in 2021 with or without a prior chart history, joining Mammoth WVH, Ayron Jones and Rise Against (whose “Nowhere Generation” became its first No. 1 a week ago after the group had been scaling the chart with songs since 2008).
The new ruler gives Johnny 3 Tears and Charlie Scene — both members of Hollywood Undead — each of their first No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Airplay. (Hollywood Undead’s top peak is No. 9, with “Hear Me Now” in 2011.) The pair was added to a new mix of “Glory” released earlier this year; the original premiered in 2017 and was re-released with the new version after All Good Things signed to Better Noise.
Concurrently, “Glory” jumps 18-14 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart with 2.6 million audience impressions, up 7%, according to MRC Data. The track has hit No. 4 on the multi-metric Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, where it rebounds 7-5. In addition to its radio airplay, it earned 584,000 U.S. streams in the July 30-Aug. 5 tracking week.
A Hope in Hell, All Good Things’ first full-length on Better Noise, is due Aug. 20.
