All ‘Freeze Frame’ Camera Locations in Control Resonant

Comment Views: 2

The “Freeze Frame” assignment in Control Resonant tasks you with tracking down anomalous cameras that lock you completely in place the moment they capture your image.

To bypass this hazard—and safeguard any nearby civilians—you must stay out of their direct line of sight, sneak up behind them, and manually snap their lenses shut. Every zone conceals a pair of these devices. While the game provides polaroid snapshots as geographical clues, they only reveal a fraction of the surrounding environment.

With two cameras hidden in each district, we strongly advise acquiring the Shift and Reach traversal abilities before embarking on this scavenger hunt.

Below is the comprehensive guide to locating every single “Freeze Frame” camera in Control Resonant.

Downtown ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

Gravity Town camera

You’ll find this unit tucked away in the northwestern quadrant of Downtown, positioned just east of Dense Patterning and south of the West Supply Route Station. Reaching this spot requires the Shift power acquired from the Incursion Fault within the West Incursion Zone, so make sure to secure that upgrade beforehand.

The most direct route is to follow the roadway southwest from the West Supply Route Station. As you drop onto the lower avenue, glance eastward to spot an inverted building featuring a sealed metal bulkhead overhead.

Deploy Shift to scale the vertical wall to your left, then land gracefully on the rooftop housing the entrance. Next, force the barrier open using Crush and manually deactivate the camera.

East Downtown camera

The second Downtown camera rests in the southeastern corner of the eastern sector. Accessing this area requires Reach, which is earned by clearing the Subway Fault in the Evacuation Zone.

Journey to Lookout Point and leverage Reach on the suspended metallic platform to cross over. Directly beneath you lies a cluster of power cores. You will need one to open the chamber behind the camera, though we strongly advise equipping the “Extended Rush” talent and rehearsing your path beforehand.

Begin by leaping onto the green storage container module situated to the right of the power cores. Strike one core, quickly bound back to the green structure, and launch yourself toward the active construction site. Proceed southward until you discover a building topped with an uncharged power core. Sprint over and hit it to transfer the electrical charge.

Next, strike the power core to absorb the charge, then navigate through the alleyways heading south. Look right to spot another depleted power core resting on the street below; blast it using your charged weapon. The entryway will unlock, granting you access to the camera.

Central ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

Watchtower camera

To reach it, descend to the lowest level of the Watchtower (just beneath the elevator shaft) and enter the crimson-lit chamber. Scale the scaffolding in the eastern corner, but refrain from rushing into the upper hallway. You will have a clear view of the camera from here, but stepping too close will trigger a snapshot.

Instead, vault through the ceiling aperture and drop down through the secondary floor opening. This maneuvers you directly behind the unit, enabling a safe deactivation.

Southwest Central camera

You can approach this via Reach or by leaping across from the parking garage roof. While Reach is significantly faster—saving you from skirmishing with hostile entities inside the garage—it remains your only viable path if you lack that specific movement skill.

This particular puzzle requires you to intentionally walk into its field of vision. Once it vanishes, enter the building and descend to ground level. Clear out the opposition and unlock the red exterior exit door. Stepping outside causes the camera to rematerialize. Retrace your ascent to the top floor to shut it down.

West Incursion Zone ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

Both cameras in the West Incursion Zone require the Shift ability, so ensure you clear the Incursion Fault within the Parking Garage first.

Use Shift to step directly onto the building, but avoid walking straight toward the lens. Instead, pivot right and leap across to the adjacent rooftop. From there, jump back to the previous structure’s higher tier. Approach the precipice, drop safely behind the device, and close its cover.

Suspended scaffolding camera

Simply walk straight off the edge (avoid jumping) and wait for the screen orientation to invert. From there, leap to the first platform, then onto the subsequent one, and finally jump to the elevated scaffolding platform to position yourself directly behind the target.

Evacuation Zone ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

East Evacuation Zone camera

Deactivating it, however, requires charging the power core positioned behind the camera enclosure. Proceed to the power core cluster just south of the main Evac Building and turn west. Strike a core, sprint westward down the street, and transfer the energy into the uncharged power core right before the threshold. Next, strike that core, traverse the doorway (or vault over via Reach), and relay the charge into another depleted core further down the avenue. Looking toward the street’s end reveals a metallic walkway leading upward to a rooftop. For the final stretch, activate the core, scale the roof, and channel the electricity into the rooftop power core. This unlocks the housing door, allowing you to shut down the camera.

Northeast Evacuation Zone camera

The second Evacuation Zone unit is stationed atop a building immediately south of Railyard Street Station. Reaching it necessitates the Reach ability found within the Subway Fault, located inside that very station.

Use Reach to attain the rooftop, then purposefully allow the camera to capture you. The device will temporarily despawn, granting you entry into the building. Exit through the ground-floor front entrance to cause the camera to materialize once more. Retrace your steps back to the upper level via the interior stairway, and you’ll emerge directly behind the lens.

The Park ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

Sewer entrance camera

Transfer the electrical current, ride the lift upward, and glide across to the higher platform, dropping down onto the lower rig behind the camera.

Nomad Avenue Station camera

Descend the stairwell to find the camera immediately to your right. Follow the path leftward to encounter a portal encased in dense white mold. Clear the barrier by applying either the Ignite or Inferno combat ability—unlocked by defeating The Deserter resonant in Central. Continue along this corridor to emerge directly behind the camera.

Underpass ‘Freeze Frame’ camera locations in Control Resonant

Northeast Underpass camera

Vault onto the pillar ahead of the hostiles, refraining from advancing toward the lens. Instead, look directly beneath the camera to pinpoint a vantage point accessible via Reach. Utilize Reach, neutralize the incoming threats, and drop through the floor opening. The camera waits at the northwestern terminus of the hall.

Upon arriving, you’ll step into a zone saturated with blue mold and hostile entities. The camera sits inside an elevated wall recess that sits just out of reach of standard Elevate jumps. While flanking paths exist to the left and right, they lead directly into the lens’s operational arc. Instead, curve around the right corner and use Reach to latch onto the red-carpeted ceiling section.

Clear out the threats and look for a substantial mold formation near the center of the eastern wall, positioned directly beside a staircase flight. The camera is located immediately to its left.

Factory Island camera

The second unit is concealed inside the Wear’Em & Wash’Em laundromat on Factory Island, which serves as the southwesternmost landmass in the Unknown zone. To reach it, interact with the pylons extending from Pope’s research balloon in the southwest portion of the central island; this constructs a temporary energy bridge allowing you to cross over to Factory Island. Alternatively, if you have already unlocked the “Factory Island” fast-travel point, you can simply warp directly there.

Upon landing on Factory Island, glance westward to view a vertical street flanked by sideways structures. The laundromat is situated along this road, but attempting to approach directly will result in a freeze-frame penalty. Instead, deploy Reach to access the building on the right side of the street, then traverse the rooftops to maneuver behind the structure. Drop down into the rear courtyard and enter through the open garage bay to safely approach the camera from behind.

How to contain the cameras in Downtown in Control Resonant

Once every individual camera has been secured, Zoe will contact you with an alert that the devices are malfunctioning wildly outside the Oldest House perimeter. Upon arrival, you will encounter a linear formation of seven cameras. Your objective is to deactivate each one in sequence; however, shutting a single lens causes the remainder to instantly teleport away. Furthermore, if any camera manages to photograph you, your progress resets to the preceding phase, so maintaining absolute stealth is paramount.

For the opening sequence, approach the encounter zone from the eastern direction, as coming in from the west places you immediately in their field of view.

Deactivate any single unit to trigger a teleport event sending the rest to a northern rooftop. To bypass detection, slip into the northeastern alley and vault onto the metallic platform. Proceed across to the target rooftop and snap the camera cover shut.

The cluster will relocate to the green structure directly in front of you. Drop down, head to the brick building situated southwest of your location, and utilize Reach to gain its roof. Drop in behind the array and turn one off.

Two units will transfer to the rooftop directly ahead, while two others drop down to ground level right before you. Pivot around, clear the courtyard wall, and circle to the northern side of the space to locate an access door positioned behind the ground-bound cameras. Approach one and deactivate it.

The units subsequently jump to a metallic platform situated straight ahead. Leap across to the opposing concrete divider and drop silently behind the equipment.

The final camera retreats to its original birthplace directly in the center of the zone. Approach it from behind and snap it shut to conclude the mission successfully. As your compensation, you’ll be rewarded with the Shiny Pebble artifact blueprint, which gradually regenerates your health up to 50% while operating inside a gravity anomaly.
