Air Supply to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Air Supply will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m. PT. Grammy-winning producer David Foster and Primetime Emmy-winning TV host Pat Sajak will speak at the ceremony, which will stream live exclusively at the Walk of Fame site. iHeartMedia radio personality Lisa Foxx will MC the event.

Air Supply earned eight top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in the early 1980s. These included the No. 1 hit “The One That You Love” and a pair of No. 2 hits, “All Out of Love” and “Making Love Out of Nothing at All.” They also secured two top 10 albums on the Billboard 200.

The duo features English singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and Australian singer Russell Hitchcock. The musicians met in Melbourne, Australia, on May 12, 1975, during rehearsals for the Australian touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Their first U.S. hit, “Lost in Love,” reached No. 3 on the Hot 100, and their album of the same name spent two full years on the Billboard 200. Air Supply celebrated their golden anniversary on May 13, 2025, with a sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The duo’s star is located at 6126 Hollywood Blvd.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has hosted star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people have visited the cultural landmark since 1960.
