Adult Swim has introduced its eighth annual Singles Program. It marks the second 12 months in a row that the collection will run for 52 weeks, with a brand new track from a unique artist being launched every week. Artists introduced for the collection up to now embody Autechre, Clams Casino, Jay Som, Saba, Neneh Cherry, Hatchie, Pig Destroyer, Rival Consoles, Com Truise, DAWN, and lots of extra. The first track of this 12 months’s program is “Fashionista” by Father, that includes Lil Housephone. Take a hearken to that under.
Last fall, the Adult Swim Singles Program launched a monitor from My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields and producer Brian Eno titled “Only Once Away My Son.” Adult Swim is ready to host their Adult Swim Festival from October 6-7 on the Row DTLA in Downtown Los Angeles, that includes performances from Run the Jewels, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, and extra. (There can be a “Rick and Morty” dwell live performance as nicely.)
Hatchie and Saba are enjoying Octfest, a brand new music and beer competition from Pitchfork and October. It takes place September 8-9 at Governors Island in New York City. Tickets are available now.
