A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are expecting their third child, and in a new cover interview with Elle published on Sept. 23, 2025, Rocky revealed that the couple quietly hopes the newest addition will be a daughter.

In the conversation, Rocky said he believes this pregnancy feels unlike the previous two and that both he and Rihanna are hoping for a little girl. He described the difference in this pregnancy and expressed a sincere desire for a daughter.

The pair are already raising sons RZA and Riot Rose. Rihanna publicly revealed her pregnancy earlier this year when she showed her baby bump at the Met Gala in May 2025, an event she co-chaired.

When asked about their relationship status, Rocky joked about the question of marriage, teasing in the interview while declining to confirm anything outright.

Both artists remain busy professionally: Rihanna continues to oversee her Fenty ventures, while Rocky divides his time between fashion projects and acting. Most recently he appeared in Molly Bronstein’s film If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

Despite their demanding schedules, Rocky emphasized that family is the couple’s top priority. He explained that they attempt to separate business from home life, reserving their time together for family and personal matters rather than work.

He added that collaborating with Rihanna creatively is one of the things they enjoy most, and praised her trust and openness when they do join forces.
