A24 to release documentary on Elizabeth Holmes

Studio A24 has unveiled the initial look at their latest documentary, “You Can See Everything,” which centers on the infamous entrepreneur and disgraced Theranos founder, Elizabeth Holmes.

Directed by Nathan Fielder (“The Rehearsal,” “The Curse”) and Lance Oppenheim (“Spermworld”), the film follows a striking premise: just 34 days before she was due to report to prison, Holmes granted a film crew unprecedented access to chronicle her life. What began as a brief window into her world ultimately evolved into a sprawling, three-year odyssey that defies expectation.

In 2003, Holmes launched Theranos, a medical startup that promised to revolutionize blood testing with a painless, high-tech approach. By 2015, Forbes had crowned her the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire; however, by 2018, the company had collapsed under the weight of investigative reporting and severe fraud charges. Both Holmes and her former partner, Sunny Balwani, were eventually sentenced to 11 and 12 years in prison, respectively.

The global premiere of “You Can See Everything” took place last night at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, with an international theatrical release scheduled for this October.
